APPROVALS AND SAFETY
2006 /42/ CE New Machines
In accordance with the provisions of current legislation established in Directive 2006/42/EC, all machinery, equipment or industrial installations placed on the European Union market must have the CE Marking.
The CE declaration of conformity is the certification procedure by which the manufacturer declares that the machines marketed comply with all the pertinent essential health and safety requirements, and that documents like the technical file and the instruction manual have been prepared.
Reconversion of machines
In certain cases, the reworking of machines is considered due to a change in production needs or a need for improvements to the initial design. Most of the time, this reworking involves a reconsideration of the security measures implemented in the machines. This case involves the obligation of applying the requirements of Directive 2006/42/EC and current regulations.

Adaptation of machines R.D. 1215/97
Based on the provisions of R.D. 1215/97, all companies must carry out a process of adapting their machinery to the provisions established in annexes I and II of the aforementioned Royal Decree.
In addition, work equipment that does not have the CE marking must be examined to verify that it complies with each and every one of the requirements indicated in R.D. 1215/1997. Any anomaly detected constitutes regulatory non-conformity and needs to be corrected through the implementation of correct measures.
