APPROVALS AND SAFETY
2006 /42/ CE New Machines
In accordance with the provisions of current legislation established in Directive 2006/42/EC, all machinery, equipment or industrial installations placed on the market in the European Union must bear the CE Marking.
The EC declaration of conformity is the certification procedure by which the manufacturer declares that the machines marketed meet all the relevant essential health and safety requirements, and the preparation of various documents such as the technical file and the instruction manual.
Machine retrofitting
In certain cases, machine modifications are considered due to changes in production needs or the need for improvements to the initial design. These modifications often involve a reassessment of the safety measures implemented on the machines. This necessitates compliance with the requirements of Directive 2006/42/EC and applicable regulations.

Adaptation of machines RD 1215/97
Based on the provisions of Royal Decree 1215/97, all companies must carry out a process of adapting their machinery to the provisions established in Annexes I and II of the aforementioned Royal Decree.
Furthermore, work equipment that does not have CE marking must be examined to verify that it complies with each and every one of the requirements indicated in Royal Decree 1215/1997. Any anomaly detected in them constitutes non-compliance with the standard and must be rectified by implementing corrective measures.
